Ingredients

  • 7-8 chicken pieces with skin on
  • 1.5 cups of heavy whipping cream
  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease casserole dish.
  • 2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • 3. Coat each piece of chicken with the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Place chicken in casserole dish.
  • 4. Combine the heavy whipping cream and water. Pour mixture around chicken.
  • 5. Bake for about 90 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Serve the Amish Chicken hot, spooning the creamy sauce over the top.
