  • 24 whole white button mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced jalapenos, drained
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ lb bacon, cooked and chopped


  • Preheat your oven to 3500F (1750C) in order to prepare the mushrooms. Start by removing the
  • stems from 24 white button mushrooms.
  • In a bowl combine softened cream cheese, minced garlic cloves, drained jalapenos, shredded
  • cheddar cheese and cooked and chopped baconto create the filling.
  • Generously spoon the cream cheese mixture into the mushroom caps ensuring they are well filled.
  • For baking place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking rack that is set on a baking sheet lined
  • with foil. Bake them for 13 to 20 minutes. Until they turn golden and bubbly.
  • Once baked remove them from the oven. Let them cool slightly. Serve these Jalapeno Popper
