Elephant Calf Playfully Kicks Tourist During Attempted Selfie

In a comical encounter, an elephant calf gave a tourist an unexpected kick on the backside when he tried to take a selfie with the young animal.

The amusing moment unfolded in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where the baby elephant rested against a stone wall, its front feet propped up.

A visiting tourist approached the calf, camera in hand, and aimed to snap a selfie with the elephant.

However, the calf wasn’t in the mood for pictures. It hopped down from the wall, its head lowered, seemingly uninterested in posing. The persistent tourist adjusted his position, bending down to get a better shot.

When the man reached out to touch the side of the elephant’s head, the calf gave him a playful kick on the backside with its back foot.

Onlookers burst into laughter as the startled tourist jumped from the impact. Though the man quickly moved away, the baby elephant followed him briefly before the tourist playfully pushed the calf back.
